William Kaplan, Partner of BBV since 2004, is an attorney and a partner with Hartman & Craven in New York City. His practice includes corporate and real estate finance. He recently has been selected by Forbes Skyradio as one of America’s Best Lawyers. Mr. Kaplan represents developers, owners and passive investors in acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, leasing, workouts and restructurings. He represents investment banks, commercial banks, and “hard money” lending entities in senior mortgage loans, mezzanine financings and construction financing. Additionally, Mr. Kaplan has substantial experience in capital formation for foreign clients seeking access to US markets.

Mr. Kaplan is a graduate of the New York University Law School where he was a contributing editor for The Journal of International Law and Politics and an honors graduate of Harpur College at the State University of New York at Binghamton.
